Cole-Benning Pairing Shines in Victory

Newly acquired Matt Benning made a solid impression in his first game with the Flames after being acquired earlier this week. He produced an assist on the Flames' first goal and finished the night at plus three.

In recent news, Sabres GM Labbé agreed to appear on Spittin Chicklets to discuss his recent purchase of 75% of the Carolina Hurricanes. A source close to the league indicated it was just Labbé flexing his Buffalo Mafia warchest once again in an effort to intimidate opponents into losing because his actual on ice product is incapable of winning.
